Mind Grace

Hi there! My name is Jennifer Serrato, and I am here to support you. I am a Waco native and love serving my community. I moved to San Antonio to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio where I earned a Bachelor's of Psychology. I then moved back to Waco where I was a classroom teacher for eight years before returning to school to earn a Masters of Education in School Counseling. I have served as an elementary school counselor and high school counselor before deciding to pursue my license as a professional counselor. My passion is helping individuals find their inner strength to foster their own growth. I have worked with children, adolescents and families in a number of community settings and believe that every person deserves to be happy, regardless of their past experiences and challenges. As a therapist, I will use a combination of techniques that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to help individuals restructure their thinking habits which can then lead to positive changes in behaviors. My goal is to help you experience the benefits of therapy so that you can live a happy and fulfilling life.
